Misprints? Or intentional? You be the judge
Many news media have ‘headline specialists’ in order to better capture the true grit of the story, or to create interest and grab attention. Here are a few of my favorites that were deemed as misprints, but I wonder.

…. and there are those that just want to make it right AFTER the error:
We apologize for the error in last week’s paper in which we states the Mr. Arnold was a defective in the police force. This was a typographical error. We meant of course that Mr. Arnold is a detective in the police farce, and we are sorry for any embarrassment caused. – Ely Standard
